Here’s my experience. This time, instead of suddenly waking me up in the middle of the night in the excruciating agony with which we are all too familiar, the Beast slowly built up his attacks until I couldn’t take it any longer and went to the doctor. My regular guy wasn’t there, so his associate prescribed 160 mg. of Verapamil a day. This didn’t have any effect, so, when my regular guy came back, I went to see him. He immediately upped the Verapamil to 480 mg. a day. It was like a miracle! Then, as the attacks got weaker and wekaer, I lowered the intake till I’m now down to 120 mg. a day, taking more as needed, but more hasn’t been needed in about a month..
