Hi Martha,
I've suffered from cluster HAs for more than a dozen years and have never had my sight disrupted other than from the tearing of the eye on the effected side and the eye droop. I've never felt as though the experience could be an eye disorder. The pain ABOVE my eye is unmistakeable -- like an ice pick being shoved into a distinct spot -- eyebrow level. The HAs occur approx. the same time each day and almost always during the night, waking me from sleep.
DO see a neuro and let him/her know what you're experiencing. Then let us know what you find out.
