Welcome to our site. It has provided much needed support for both sufferers & supporters.
My last cluster period has lasted on and off for most of this last year, but when I was strickly episodic, it seems that I would go longer and longer between headaches towards the end of a cycle, untill finally the cycle was over.
As you read through the mountain of posts on CH.COM, you will see that there is such a variance in how the cycle presents itself, how to abort the HAs, and the pain levels.
As I'm sure you know by now, there are certain triggers that most of us have. Alcohol is a biggy for most of us, as is foods with nitrates, including smoked meats, prepared foods with MSG, aged cheeses, etc. Some of us can't use caffeine, however for me, it worked as an abortive.
And finally yes, we all seem to have had to experience of that never ending "sinus" infection.
Glad you found our site, and hope you find all the support you need.
