Gary,

Nice start, and I hope you keep accumulating data.
Hadn't really considered this factor until you mentioned
it.

Yet another study of similar presumption relates to
the origin of Mutiple Sclerosis. More common among peoples
of "colder" latitudes but rare in equatorial climes,
the thought has been that MS may be the result of a
"slow-virus" contracted in early adolescence, said
virus being less virulent in geographies tending toward
early acquisition of antibodies--more prevalent in
"sterile environments" precluding antibody acquisition.

For your continuing study, my P. GGF immigrated from the
British Isles, and my M. GGF was a Frenchman with an
American Indian wife (I'm 1/?? Cherokee.) I was born
in Tulsa, but spent my adolescence in the mountains
of so. COLO.

Researching THIS Board can be a very frustrating endeavor,
unless you do it via email. Because of the evolving nature
of this forum--a daily substitute for "Chat"--requests for
information that you place into the Board, and which aren't
replied to within 12 hours, will die a quick death.

The sheer volume of senseless drivel that quickly
buries [your] original post renders most investigations
"history" within 24 hours if, indeed, the post hasn't been
"cycled off" the bottom of the list by that time.

Good luck...
