My friend (a doctor) suffered for years and years, tried everything (went to every specialist who even had an idea), had surgery (same surgery I had - even the same neurosurgeon). He used massive doses of Cafagot, wore a headband during a bad cycle (we always teased him when he had on his headband about keeping the hair out of his eyes - he was totally bald). He was 51 years old.
The day it happened, my first thought was, "He's out of pain." The bad part is I've never felt the least bit of "sorrow" about it because I know he's not suffering and I understand WHY he did it. He was 51 years old.
This is a thought that crosses all our minds periodically, but most of us have a "will to live". We don't need to loose anyone else. There is always a "cure" around the corner. WE just have to be strong enough and patient enough to wait for it. Frankly kids, I have to BELIEVE this or I would have joined Jerry a long time ago.
REFUSE TO LOSE!
