When I am in a cycle, any type of smell can start an attack. Anything from Perfumes to candles can give me one hell of a ch. Other times, when I am not in a cycle, a very strong perfume or scented candle can give me shadows. I have never had any problem with paint. However, I have never been painting during a cycle either.
