Good points Linda. I also noticed the scientific info that comes with Imitrex injections showing it IS effective for treating cluster headaches. from personal experince this cycle,I can attest to its effectiveness. Yesterday night I had a strong one coming on. I squirted the lidocaine drops in the nose,slapped on the oxygen and gave myself the Imitrex injection. It aborted within 4minutes,the fastest time yet. I think the longest I had to wait for it to abort was around 8 minutes which is heaven versus living with a 100+ cluster attack for 2 hours. Thank God for Imitrex but it is a tad pricey....but heck,I'll get another job to pay for it if I had to!!!!
