Hi all. I really love reading you guys' back and forth banter. I was thinking about the post from the other day from the person who can knock out a 10 via self-hypnosis. I have been to a hypnotherapist, I have studied biofeedback and been to a biofeedback specialist in effort to treat these damn CHs. I have had only some limited success myself, and that is when I am able to catch the CH very early on. Both hypnosis and biofeedback require relaxation, slow, even and deep breathing, and a focus of thought that for me is difficult when the sensation of being smacked alongside the head with a Louisville Slugger insinuates itself into my thoughts. On the other hand, relaxation and deep breathing are frequently goals of mine, as I breathe my oxygen and pray for relief. I try to visualize breathing in pure and heavenly air, and breathe out the brownness of the pain. It helps me to focus somewhat, and slow down. (Now, did I remember everything I wanted to say?) Probably not.
