Don't know if this is relevant or not, but my mom had tinnitus so severe she couldn't hear anything else at times. Her HA history is one mostly of migraines, and one cluster in her lifetime.
Her doc said it was caused by caffeine! She's gone completely caffeine free now, and has had little to no tinnitus for 2 years. Maybe something to discuss with your doc?
