I talked to my son's girlfriend who is a Pharmacist and she said Indocin and Aleve are in the same drug family but are NOTjust alike.
If your doctor ordered Indocin then there must be a reason he wants you to have it over Aleve. Myself, I don't see how Aleve would take even the edge off one of these attacks!
If you do try the Aleve over the Indocin you need to wait 120 days till the Indocin is out of your system. And dont' take both at the same time. Always take with food.
