The prednisone does work rather quickly. However, make sure its a very low dose. I was on it 3 different times and the last time I lost all use of my arms and legs. I was in the hospital for 1 week. I don't mean to scare you because it does work but make sure its a low dose. I have been off it for 2 weeks and I still walk with a cane and I look like a chipmunk!Drink lots of water to keep it from settling in your system and all should be well. You can hopefully look forward to at least a week headache free!
