Hi Chana and Debbie,
It could well be that the trigger substance is MSG (Mono Sodium Glutamate). This stuff that is used to 'enhance' taste was first use in chinese food, but nowadays it's in almost any preprocessed food, especially sausages, soups and sauces are full of MSG. Cooked tomatoes are a natural source of MSG, beware of ketchup. This poison has be discussed before on this board, do a search for MSG. There is a web site with a strong opinion on MSG, check it out: http://www.truthinlabeling.org/
Good luck in avoiding triggers,
Ueli
