This may sound crazy but while I have an CH attack if I am with my husband I beg him to lite me a smoke- a menthol brand. I know it probably can't help but if I don't have o2 or imitrex I have to do something. I usually don't really smoke it during but I hold it near the ashtray becasue I'm unable to see or move except to rock and hold my head. But as the attack passes I take a few drags and it calms me. I crave the cigarette after the attack eases a bit. My husband wondered about the correlation with the menthol such as the peppermint and spearmint oils I now use.The aromas help the shadows that have been with me for two weeks in the left temple. Please remember though not to smoke around your 02 tank!
