Cluster are brought on by our veins swelling up
and closing up. The blood can't run thru - so
"heart attack" in our head. Drink lots of fluid
like water .... This keeps our veins in good
shape. I did this in 1994 after a ER doc told
me too, and within 2 days they were gone. Consequently,
I read an article on how certain headaches can
be avoided by drinking lots of fluid during the
day... I drink two or three glasses before bed
and keep two glasses of water by my bedside.
When I get a cluster.... I then rub flexall heat
gel... and it immediatly stops the pain from
climbing... I then take two Exedrin Migrane pills
and then go outside in the shade and breath fresh
air. Within 15 minutes GONE GONE GONE!
I've been a long sufferer and have been on all
\the hard stuff to combat these. Drinking 6
glasses of fluid like water or gaterade ... and
keeping flexall or other athrities heat gels keeps
the pain from climbing while I'm waiting for
the exedrin to start attacking. Codine can't
hold a candle to this excedrin! so, drink your
water guys. Do what the ER doc says, so much
you pee every 30 minutes. When your cycle is
over... you can stop drinking so much. This
has worked for me since 1994! Go guys!
