After sharing prednisone info GATHERED AND PRINTED FROM THIS SITE w/ my G.P. she prescribed a course of therepy that included 80 mg. pred for 4 days, 60 mg. for 4 days, 40 mg. for 4 days and finally 20 mg. daily for 4 days. My question; should i take my daily dose of 20 mg. tabs all at once or divide it into four spaced doses? She didn't seem real clear nor did the pharmacist (thuogh the pharm. said all at once i detected some hesitation). Thank D.J. for this site. My doc was going to prescribe a much lower dose but when She read the info she didn't hesitate to take the experience, strength and hope of others too lightly. Even small doses of compassion and understanding seem too take the edge of the beast if I dwell on it a bit. Bless all with a return to our painless and -daily- more educated times.
