Hey Dan I do know how you feel have been there since 1982. I know how depressing it is not being able to go on a camping trip or just to go out and eat for fear of the headaches coming on. I know how family and friends must get tired of hearing about another HA. I was chronic for about four years and then I tried a new combination of medacation that worked completely for about two years. I was takeing lithium, verapamil, and when the Doctor added inderal they went away. After about a month I got rid of lithium and theyn still did not return. They are still pretty much under control except about two months ago they have been starting again. I hope they are not coming back they usually start slow and get worse. Do not give up there is a Doctor I found through this sight who has found some new medication that may be of some value, here is his phone number 440-365-4646. I was going to consider surgery myself before the Meds worked. I know what worked for me may not work for you but hang in there pal one day at a time.
