Hi there Mela,
Boy, I hate to see when peole are hurting!
I have thoght the same thing many times in the past (Have been suffering from CH's episodicall for 10 years). And even i the pat weeks I have thought it. I am VERY glad that you will be able to go to see the neuroligist! Please, pour over htis site and yopu will find some information that you can then talk to your neurologis about. This will save you a lot of time and money and needless suffering. Many cannot go to the neurologist. However, we are hanging on because there are always gonna be many PF moments ahead for all of us and we know that in our hearts.
Also, as Nancyc says (excellent post BTW), The people on this site are defenitewly going to be ther for you! They have helppe me get through by undertsanding what I am going through and bheing there when I needed some advice or just did not think I could do it for another minute! We will all be here as long as you need us! Just do not be afraid to reach out and ask for hepl when you need it! Ok?
And there are many many success stories to be found in these posts! Just read them and keep in mind that many of us probably do not hang around as much when we are pain free (PF). Probably going about their lives like there is not a thing as CH. Juus natural human behavior I think. Those who are PF and STILL are here are really extraordinary people and they do share their successful stories a lot around here.
Sorry that you too have CH's. I feel for you and I underdstand your pain (I suffer myself, like right now). However, you CAN hang in there. Something really good will happen if you just wait around and be there when it comes along. I swear it.
Please keep psting so we know that you are ok.
Love, Michael B
